This provincial-level CTOC training course focuses on Mukdahan, which is a known location for the illicit trafficking of wildlife between Thailand and Laos. The course aims to promote and help institutionalize the CTOC approach; strengthen the investigations capacity of law enforcement officials working on the Thai/Lao land border in order to reduce transnational illegal wildlife trade; and increase the awareness of border officials of the dangers of zoonotic diseases associated with the illegal wildlife trade.
