The Digital Deterrence campaign used digital marketing techniques to prevent the purchase of illegal wildlife products online and reduce demand in Thailand.

The Digital Deterrence campaign was an innovation implemented under the USAID Wildlife Asia Activity. USAID Reducing Demand for Wildlife (RDW) continued the campaign, using insights and lessons learned during USAID Wildlife Asia to enhance targeting of potential online buyers and serve them with deterrence messaging through Google ads.
