No Ivory No Tiger Amulets Video Featuring Venerable Santibhaddho

The No Ivory No Tiger Amulets campaign aims to reduce demand for wildlife products among consumers driven by beliefs in these products’ spiritual powers.

Specifically, the campaign mobilizes spiritual leaders to:

  • Counter the message that ivory, tiger and other wildlife products bring good luck and prevent harm;
  • Promote understanding and acceptance on why the use of ivory, tiger, and other amulets derived from endangered species are not in line with Buddhist or other religious teachings;
  • Reduce intention to purchase or use ivory and tiger products driven by spiritual beliefs; and
  • Reduce social acceptability of buying or using ivory and tiger products.
This video features Venerable Napan Santibhaddo, Assistant Abbot of Wat Saket and Chair of the IBHAP Foundation.
